Damn, damn, damn, damn, damn, damn, damn. I am definitely having a Professor Higgins moment. I bought one of those energy saving light bulbs for the single, measly, little light fixture in my room so that I wouldn't go blind studying in there. Well, I wrestled with the plastic packaging (the really stiff kind, that's sealed off at several places), wrenched it open.....and saw my new bulb smash to smithereens my hardwood floor. Damn it. Then I had to sweep it up. Good thing today's cleaning day, and I'm going to be vacuuming anyway.
